SCOPE

The purposes of Mathematics and Computer Science Research Center are to:

• obtain new scientific results both in pure and applied areas of mathematics;

• start fundamental research related to engineering problems, by forming mixed teams involving engineers and mathematicians;

• write and to publish research articles in ISI journals or in journals indexed in other international databases;

• elaborate university textbooks for graduate, PhD students, and continuous training programs, respectively, according to the standard of prestigious international universities; 

• start debates (organize workshops) about current research topics in mathematics. For our scientific projects, we intend to involve researchers from other (Romanian or foreign) universities. At the same time, it is intended to organize scientific conferences with national and international participants;

• increase use of MATLAB, Maple, Mathematica, Mathcad software;

• elaborate software programs for specific engineering problems.
